Information & Course

The Category III course is intended for people who are confident with spectrum analysis but who wish to push on and learn more about signal processing, time waveform and phase analysis, cross-channel testing, machine dynamics, and fault correction. If you wish to truly advance in vibration analysis and be able to run a successful condition monitoring team, then you are ready for this course.

Couse Description

Duration:

5 days including optional 4-hour exam.

Example Hours:

Training Days 1-4: 8:00 am to 5:00 pm

Exam Day 5: 9:00 am to 1:30 pm

Format:

Classroom learning

Optional Extra:

AINDT Certification Examination, 4 hours, 70% passing grade.

Compliance:

Follows ISO 18436-2 and 18436-3 and provides 3.5 Continuing Education Unit (CEU) credits.

Certification Prerequisite:

Prior experience is not required for attending the training course, but certification requires: 36 months of experience AND ISO Category 2 certification or a minimum of 60 months of experience in lieu of Category 2 certification.

Outcome:

This course will give the analyst all the skills and knowledge necessary to solve all fault conditions, run a successful condition monitoring program and drive a reliability culture.
